You are the author of your story.

We all have stories about our lives — where we came from, how we got to where we are, and where we are going. Stories we've told ourselves. 


These include stories of health and well-being.


Sometimes, you might feel like a hero, capable of taking action and creating results you want. Other times, you might feel victim to forces outside your control.


Often, though, you're deep in the struggle of your story:

  • Trying to make change when old habits run deep.

  • Trying to makes sense of conflicting information and advice.

  • Trying to make something good from a tough situation.

  • Trying to hold on to hope when you've been told there is none.


For most of us, personal stories of health and healing are limited by what we've been told by others.


The very best healthcare professionals are true experts in their fields. But you're the only expert on your life. You must weave their expert stories of diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment together with your expert stories of personal experience, values, and goals.

At the same time, you can explore beyond the boundaries of your own experience, and weave in stories of possibility and imagination.

What story will you tell?


As a national board-certified health and wellness coach (NBC-HWC) who is also a professional health writer, I work with you to imagine and create a new story.

OK that's a nice metaphor as far as it goes! But what does this mean in practice?

It means you and I have important conversations about what matters to you and why, about what interests and motivates you and why, what you struggle with, and what you are willing or not willing to try.

With my support, you create your vision. You set your goals. You tell me how you want to be held accountable.


I walk beside you and hold your hand (sorry, back to metaphors!) while you take sometimes difficult steps toward the health story you want for yourself.
